Heck yeah!!! I start dropping hints early!....I hate people wasting money on things that are not ever going to be used.

I see nothing wrong with hints, in fact, some may appreciate it. If they can afford it, someone will get what you really want. The ones unable to afford whatever you ask for, can get you whatever they want, but at least you`ll get something useful out of the whole deal. Hint away. I only wish some people I buy for would do the same, instead of me racking my brain for a gift they don`t want or need. A total waste of time, energy and money.

well what i do is email my mom or a sibling a huge list of things I want. they choose what they waant to get me, take it off the list and send it on to someone else. That way I never get the same gift twice, I get what I want and it's still a surprise so it works out. that's what I would suggest

All of my family members make lists for each other. If its not your families custom to make a list, then it might be wierd to do so, but if I was related to you I would want to make sure I got you a gift that you would actually like and USE.

Never hint. It's like asking for a present, or more like begging. If you really want something then save your pennies to buy it for yourself.
