at the front of the impalas are what's termed a wheel hub assy.it is a form of wheel bearing.Please have the left the front hub checked once a possibility.at the same time as those wheel hubs flow undesirable they reason noise and vibration.best of success.

lots of things, maybe an imbalance in the engine suggesting wear, bad air/fuel mix leading to pre-ignition, steering wear in the column bearing and or tyre wear but i think most likely is engine mounts being eroded or broken, how old is the car/engine and the miles it's done?

if everything is 100% with the motor,it will be air intake only,this is the fault you engine needs more air
