You should mind your own business. It's not your place to interfere.

The trouble within this world today started because too many people started to " mind their own business". Before this idea became popular, everyone looked out for friends. If there was something going on that was just wrong( which many of you pointed out that a guy lying about his age when its as big a spread as this guy's} then people should tell their friend the truth. Or better yet, get the guy to admit the truth to his girlfriend. Someone should approach this guy and say " Hey, I heard you told my friend that you were 23 when you are really 26. If you really care for her, you will tell her the truth." Then sit back and wait. Honest people will do what is right. Then later ask your friend how old her boyfriend is. If he hasnt told her the truth, then say whatever needs to be said. You will know what to say. Everyone who is sane knows how to say things. Its all in the way you tell it. It should be told with love, and you know what I mean

I think he is to old for her period at 23 or 26! She is only 17. When will she be 18? Later on in life age will not matter but right now why is someone 27 dating a 17 year old??

But back to your question you can tell her but I don't think it will matter to her.

Yes I'm a christian

1. Why not tell her? You would be a good friend to tell her.
2. It's weird that someone would lie about their age that way. There isn't much difference between dating a 23 year old and a 26 year old.

3. What does religion matter.

If you are any kind of friend, you'll tell her the truth. Also, I'm sure the girl's parents would like to know what a 26 year old is doing with a minor 17 year old, too!

Hey, MMMMissy, put yourself in her shoes. Not your place to ruin her life. Better to have loved and lost, than to not loved at all....I say sometimes.
Get yer own boyfriend, I think yer after hers.
Sheesh.
She never hurt a soul. Are you the Grim Reaper. Respect her. Religious beliefs have nothing to do with this. Satan is a master of lies. I like hip hop too, but the right thing to do is have a hysterectomy, or at least take time off for it. I'm gonna puke. I have morning sickness.
Believe in the sun, run naked or not at all. Don't get yer panties in a bunch. Be safe rather than sorry.
Have Lockjaw and don't tell your friend what to do. Maybe you have rabies. God has a plan for you. Who is Jesus's Dad? Concern yerself with that stuff. Her love life is not yer business. When you fall in love you'll know.

Sit down and talk to her. She may or may not know the truth. Ask her how old he is. If she says 26 then tell her what you know. Dont sound over bearing or she might think that youre just jealous. Most importantly tell her as a friend not as a parent figure-- she'll take it better. Good Luck

Of course you tell her, in my opinion. She might not want to hear it, but she should know the truth. I believe good friends help each other this way. If you are worried about losing the friendship if you tell her, then re-evaluate the friendship.

How would you want to be treated by her if the situation was the other way around? Would you want her to tell you the truth?

you should tell her.
yes. i am a christian.
by knowing this and keeping to yourself, you are only watching her get lied to. And when she does find out the truth, she'll be even more hurt.
And FYI, Nathaniel K (an answerer below) is wrong. she cannot accuse him of rape whether he is 23 or 26. as long as they are not having sex then its still legal

Here's my take, I'm a christian..and I have high standards.

It's not morally right that your friend is dating someone so much older then her. I don't knw if I can honestly say it's your business, but since your worried...then you need to take action...to protect your friend.

Tell her. Though I doubt the three years will make much of a difference. Yes I am Christian
