What movie starred a large stuffed Snoopy doll? Stolen items were hidden in him and he was in a hotairballoon

This movie is from the 70's or early 80's. It was a live-action movie about a large stuffed Snoopy doll that had stolen jewels or other valuables hidden inside of him. Thieves were trying to get it back from the kid(s) who owned the Snoopy, and at one point in the film the Snoopy doll ends up in the air in a hot-air balloon. I cannot find any info on this movie. I believe it was a TV movie of the week, not a theatrical release, but I am not sure. I know I did'nt imagine it. I think it has not been aired for over 25 years.

I've checked a number of titles and haven't had any luck. But, I do believe I recall the ads for this. I didn't see it, but that image of the large doll in the hot air balloon is nudging at my memory. I've tried several tacts in my search; I know it's more difficult when it's a TV movie. If I can find my copy of "Movies Made for Television", perhaps I can figure out what the Snoopy film is titled.

I think I know where that volume is, so I'll try to get back to this ASAP. I starred it so that I can find my way back to it.

EDIT: I found the first edition, which goes to 1979; but, I can't find the next edition. I'll try to leaf through it to see if they have any pictures from the film. I had hoped to find it in Cultural References, but that hasn't yielded anything. I'll keep trying!

EDIT 2: I still haven't found it! It keeps teasing at my mind, but I can't even be sure that I saw this or just saw pictures advertising it. My book hasn't yielded an answer.

EDIT 3: My search has found no answers unfortunately. I have tried dozens of possible combinations and hoped that somewhere I would find a credit for this TV tie-in. *SIGH*

I know the film. I finally found it. It's called The Big Stuffed Dog.
