Do you feel lonely during the Holidays?

It's lonely all year long, but yes especially during the holidays.

During the holidays I am too busy to be lonely .
Plus I have two kids to keep me busy.
I am good with my own company and that helps.
I always have plenty to do whether it is necessary
things or leisure things. But sometimes it can be
a little lonely.
For some people christmas can be a very sad and lonely
time though.

I have family which is great ...... my parents and my brother's family are very loving ....... but yes, I definitely feel lonely during the holidays when I am single and not dating anyone to go to all of those wonderful Christmas things with ....... = )

I usually don't feel lonely but this Holidays I would be missing just one person cause she will be away on vacations and I will be feeling misreable.

sometimes I do. This holiday, I've been too busy cleaning and selling my parents home to be lonely. I'm down to my kids as my only family. I've lost a couple of friends because they don't understand I have an estate to get rid of and it has been a 4 month project. I've found out who my real friends are♥

Nope. Take Xmas, no set schedule on your own, but with the family, back from the pub by1pm after no more than two pints, get up at 6am so the kids can open presents, family outing to church (the only time they go). The host often tries too hard and Xmas dinner is rubbish,silly hats, turkey sandwiches for a week, forced to wear awful jumper granny bought you, the Queen`s speach, Guns of Navarone for the 20th time. Need I go on?

I live in a city with no family so during the holidays I make a effort to go and spend time with my family.

Yes, because I either wanna cuddle with my significant other or spend time with him and his family or vice versa......don't get me wrong I like spending time with my family but there's times you just need a break, and if I don't have a man who will I break with, so yes I feel lonely during the holidays.

Having a 3 year old makes me feel happy, but I still do get lonely, especially when it's Valentine's Day. Christmas is more stressful this year now that my mother is sick, though.
