Personally, I like screamo better. The closest song I have to it is either The Guillotine, Dragging Dead Bodies In Blue Bags Up Really Steep Hills, or There's No Sympathy for the Dead by Escape the Fate, or maybe Teeth the Size of Piano Keys by Chiodos.
also, does anyone have some good screamo song recommendations?

Screamo and Metal both for different reasons .. I like alternative the best, though.

I would say Screamo. I would highly recommend any songs from Underoath, Demon Hunter, Inhale Exhale, and Haste The Day.
