you other women here, what do you do to hide your pantyhose, when you wear them under pants for warmth? I wear a long T-Shirt tucked into the pants to keep the pantyhose waistband from showing. And I wear a pair of pretty cotton socks over the pantyhose to cover them between shoe and pant leg.

why are you concerned with covering your feet in pantyhose? I wear tights all the time under my pants without socks, just find patterned tights and they'll look fine. and why be ashamed of wearing pantyhose in the first place? I think they feel great and wear them whenever possible

If someone comes up close enough to you and looks at your legs, even if you are wearing pantyhose that match your skin, they will know you have on pantyhose. Also, when you walk while wearing them in shorts (or a skirt or dress) the pantyhose will rub and they make a soft but distinctive sound. The first time I wore pantyhose under shorts --- White tee shirt, red shorts, L'eggs Sheer Energy suntan pantyhose and white running shoes --- I decided that I would not worry about what other people think. I"ve also wore them in my car and gone through drive-throughs late at night. Yes, I am sure the gals can see my pantyhose but I'm always sure to order something that I know will be ready for me at the window. I hope you'll someday find the courage to go outside and proudly show the world that you love to wear pantyhose! There are few things that feels as good as wearing a pair of silky sheer pantyhose, especially after you've shaved or waxed and made your legs hair-free!! Good Luck!!

Why cover pantyhose? They look great and feel great under jeans and pants as well. Wearing pantyhose is nothing to be ashamed about. It's comfortable and comforting and i wear them as often as I can. If you have to cover them then wear socks and tuck your shirt ot t-shirt in your pants. They're still fun to wear.

most people I know don't wear pantyhose for warmth under pants in the winter, they usually wear long underwear which is thicker. or things like Spanx instead of nylons.
As long as my top covers the waist, I wouldn't worry about the waistband showing, and most of my pants are long enough to cover my shoe even when sitting etc. and I wear ankleboots in the winter anyways.

How about you try a nice pair of tights? Go non control top and they will be fine. Skip the socks!!

I really wouldn't know, I haven't wore panty hose in ages. I live in Texas were it is pretty much warm.
