LOL WOW.. that's all I have to say..You know I have two kids and they don't know sh*t from their a**.. That's why they have parents..And unfortunately we can't prevent everything they might stumble upon..
Yes, they run recklessly, they ride their bikes recklessly, they ski recklessly..that's what makes them kids..hence when I see some coming at me, I move out of the way!

Why does anyone have a problem with this?

"David J. Pfahler of Allentown, Pa., filed suit in Denver federal court claiming Scott Swimm, of Vail, then 7, was skiing fast and recklessly when they ran into each other in January. Pfahler's suit says he suffered a torn shoulder tendon."

Now the world knows that David J. Pfahler of Allentown, Pa is a jerk. What's wrong with that?

Oh, get off the self-righteous trip. It's really the boy's father who is being sued, but legally you have to name the kid in the lawsuit. I just saw them on TV and the dad is seriously trying to keep people focused on the kid so they won't see that he's really at fault and that the old guy did get hurt. Between the dad and the press that's willing to distort any story in order to get people feeling superior and indignant, the real story is lost, and that's that someone got hurt and it's this dad's fault. Personally I'm all for getting the brats off the ski slopes until their parents teach them some manners.

ya i think it was the same in the old days I was 14 and only looked about 11 and anyways there will always be people like this, the old guy has issues he's after the parents not the boy and its about money I sure the law will deal with it approperatley however he'll harass the parents into giving him money and if the old bastard has a good lawyer he'll get away with it.

He can't sue a minor. If he suffered injury due to the boy's reckless actions, then the boy's parents should contribute towards the man's medical bills - say 50%.

Don't believe me, just ask Judge Judy!

Earlier in the year a judge sued a small dry cleaners for millions of dollars for losing his favorite pair of slacks. There are indeed some F--ed-up people out there.

Yes, it does make one think, are we not to help each other? Going through life without having to sue anyone, could be a worth while goal. ....
