i filed chapt 7 due to 2 homes... my lawyer added water utility company since it gets billed every 6mo. at a time, and wasnt sure how much it'd be. i found out the bill is due soon. i just had my court hearing a day ago and waiting my results in 2mo. do you think i should pay water bill for maybe another service in a future (doubt i need again), or should i not need to anyways... thanx

weird because i never requested water co. to use my name in the beginning but they are after whoever the house is under. im sure its now for bank's.

at first the tenant (as soon as home was bought, rent started) probably started water and they moved out, then i called the util. and they now are looking at me.. i paid awhile (home vacant) but now i see a big bill... home is to foreclose anyway

Well i`m not sure why your attny added a bill that you had not received as of yet.
But the utility company can not collect on that dept if it gets discharged.
But they can collect a substantial deposit to turn it back on.
Because they will disconnect you after that discharge and require a large deposit and a hefty reconnect fee.
