I hate, hate, HATE Dane Cook. He is the polar opposite of funny, and all the Tweeny Boppers are ga-ga over the idiot, which only increases his annoyance factor.

For me it's Robin Williams, and it's quite scientific. First you have your man that tells jokes, he just stands there and people will giggle at his material, and he will get applauded off stage. But no matter how good his material is, you will never be in tears! That is when you come to the actor, who creates a funny character, like Emo Philips, you have the daft voice or actions, this can even make unfunny material funny The prime example is Canadian Jeremy Hotz who's material is only 33% of it, it's all in his delivery.

Then you have people like Billy Connolly and Nina Conti who let you in on the act, they're lying to you, but they tell you they are lying to you, and that's funny too!

So to get the funniest comedy ever, you need to mix this lot together, and what do you get Robin Williams!!!!

You know I really have a lot of respect for Louie Anderson. He is from Minnesota as I am. He just replaced 20 bags of toys yesterday that had been collected and then stolen from a stolen car.....and he is funny, I plan to spend my money to go see him next time I make it to Vegas.
