I had a crush on this girl who sat in front of me in one of my classes but we only talked to each other once and that was in a small in-class project in the beginning of the semester. The semester just ended. Would it be weird if I friended her on facebook. I was thinking about friending her and adding a message saying like "hey, I know we didn't talk that much in class but do you want to hang out sometime." Weird or no?

Hi, no it would not be weird if you added her on facebook. Facebook originally was to network classmates, so you can say you were in her class and most likely she will add you. Then you can get to know each other through messaging each other. Then if you become good friends you can ask her if she would want to hang out with you.

I agree with Dr. Shorty - adding her isn't weird at all (especially since she seems to at least be aware of your existence, which is really the minimal requirement to accept someone as a Facebook friend).

I'd hold off on the "let's hang out" part until later, maybe after you get to know her a little better. Perhaps hanging out in a medium to large group of people (i.e. bowling, little get-together's at a friend's house, etc.) would be the best way to get things rolling.

i agree with those who say ï was in your class'' and skip the "do you want to hang out sometime" bit. She may not even add you as a friend which has happened to me a couple of times and it does make you feel a bit rejected. If that happens you will at least know that she isn't interested at all and can move on with your life.... but if she accepts your friendship then you can slowly make the moves and see how she responds.

it truly is an exciting downside. If this have been youthful middle training babies and older teachers, thats extraordinary it is not proper what. yet i don't see it as too extraordinary for suitable training babies who ought to a) be close to in age to a coach and b) could have an extremely close to bond with them. For me, i does not detect it extraordinary if it substitute into as quickly as unique teachers considering I easily have teachers that I easily have become truly virtually, for a form of reasons, and are like my aunts, sister, and so forth. facebook oftentimes isn't the fantastic undertaking besides the certainty that; i could commerce emails instead.

I agree with the first answerer. When you add her as a friend, just say, "Hey, it's so-and-so from your biology class." After you are friends you can post messages.
