My Friend was 17 3/4 and a senior in high school when her period started, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with her. She doesn't have large boobs, but I assume that was also when they started to develop. It's just a personal timing thing. You'll hit puberty, don't worry. I did when I was 10, my cousin did when she was 11, it all varies. And your boobs might not just suddenly develop. I was a C for years, then fall my first year of college I gained a cup size, and it happened again my sophomore year. Really, don't be too worried, and I don't think it's anything to be embarassed by! :-)

And it's true, athletic women tend to skip their periods, it sometimes happens when I train for the tennis season, so if you're athletic it could just be that your body is waiting on it's own to keep the nutrients and energy available for your body, rather than wasting them.

Stop changing in the bathroom!!! There more than likely there is nothing wrong with you. People put too much time in thinking about what they look like. If someone is nicer to you because you are bigger up top you really don't need to be around that person anyway .

Now back to the question.
Some people are just late, and also some times playing sports can cause this. Like the body of any gymnast is nothing going to be that shapely .

Between the ages of 10 and 14 most boys and girls begin to notice changes taking places to their bodies. SOME START AS EARLY AS 8 OTHERS NOT UNTIL THEY ARE 18! These changes which take place over a number of years also include emotional changes and are sometimes referred to as puberty.

The changes take place in all boys and girls but they will start at different times. Generally the changes start later for boys than girls. In some people they start before the age of 10. Other people will only start to change after the age of 14. The changes also take place at a different rate in different people. In some people all the changes take place in 2 years. In other people they can take as long as 4 years.

Puberty starts when extra amounts of chemicals called hormones start to be produced in the body. These hormones guide the changes that take place in the body. As well as causing physical changes these hormones also cause emotional changes to occur.

Yes this is possible. Females don't stop growing and developing until the age of 22. Your development could have been slowed for different reasons. One especially is if you're in sports and stay physically active. Don't fret, you will develop. I have family members that didn't develop boobs until they were sophomores in college. Some people are faster than others; some are slower than others. You're okay.

it is odd that you havent had your period yet...but that doesnt necessarily mean something is wrong...these days girls are developing a lot faster than years before because of all the steroids, and stuff that is in meat and poultry...like now girls that are 8 have boobs...so maybe its the foods that you eat (for example, if your a vegetarian your more likely to develop "late")...it is possible that you may never have a period...but again that isn't totally a bad thing (symptom wise)...and another thing you might want to find out if your mom was a late bloomer....maybe it runs in your family?

no,and you worrying about it wont do you any good either, you dont need any medication, your just a slow developer, forget about it(i know its difficult) and start having fun and enjoy life, all these things you wish you had now, will come to you it just takes a little longer thats all, have you ever seen new born puppies, you have to weigh them every day and check how they are,and it seems to take an age,but after two weeks their eyes are open and yapping and playing and seem to develop every 24 hours.same with you dont worry,by the time you are 18 you will be a fantastic fully developed woman.take care, and stop that worrying,as worrying dosent make boobs bigger.i promise you that one day you will remember this question and laugh about it,but you will be prepared if you have a girl one day and she is as worried as you are now,you can say yes my darling i got the tee shirt.stop worrying please.

Are you very small, I understand, from research, that young ladies need to be seven stone to start periods, something to do with nature? I hope this helps, If you are fourteen stone, have a laugh then move on! I wish you well and hope you sort out your problem or maybe it is not. Terry.
