Anyone else decide today that they will never shop at the Gap again?

This is the most annoying ad ever! My speakers are off and may never be turned on again! This little ad campaign has backfired!

I never shop the Gap. And, my speakers are always turned off unless it is something specific that I plan on listening to.

Yep, I had to turn off the volume. As for shopping at the Gap, I don't know if there even is one in Vt., and judging by the answers, I guess I'm not missing much.

For the first 5 times or so I couldn't figure out what was going on!! Didn't realize I was going over that stupid add, and yes, had to turn the speakers off.
Not real fond of the Gap....and not real fond of Yahoo's idea to place that add there, either!

My speakers are always off.
I boycotted the GAP when they destroyed the clothing that the underage illegal workers were caught making from their overseas vendors.
They have become another bunch of sell-outs looking for a quick buck to make themselves rich at the expense of the less fortunate nations & impoverished citizens who have no representation or recourse!
I hope Yahoo is proud of themselves. Perhaps they will read all of our answers to this question & wise up to what they are taking part in!

I did, the Gap ad is so annoying.
I never shopped there before, but now I'll NEVER EVER shop there.
Actually I don't know anyone in my family who EVER shopped there, my grand kids say the Gap is out of style.

I tried to shop at the gap once but the music, the rude sales people, and the lack of decent looking clothes made me decide to never go back...
I don't understand how they stay in business with crappy clothes and a size-discrimanatory attitude.

OK - NOW I know what you are talking about! While reading this at 6 am + at home, I had not a clue [speakers are dead] - came into work and logged on and was cruising the Seniors board and kept hearing this annoying chatter and tried to figure out where it was coming from...VOILA...GAP!
I can't stand it when they do stuff like that...allow ME to click on an ad if I wan't to hear that gibberish....and stop invading my space! LOL

I did hear that today and I did turn my speakers off! I've seen - or heard - ads like that on other sites before and I just hate it. I don't shop there anyway, but I don't want the talking ads on my computer.

I had to shut the speakers off also. Talk about annoying. And the Gap has lost any business ever from me. I don't want to hear it here and we should all boycott.
