I voted for McCain in 2000. I would have voted for him in 2004 also if he ran. At a time of war I am behind my president. War is bad in a global economy not as it was when America was in a depression.
John McCain saw the writing on the wall and tens of thousands of lives could have been saved if Rumsfeld took his advice. He said,"Your not sending enough troops to prepare in the aftermath. You have Got to send more troops!".This was in 2003 or 2004 and the aftermath was devastating. Then came the surge and the "GRASSROOTS" desire for peace quelled the civil unrest as more troops were sent and called in by local tribal leaders AFTER they began fighting insurgents and Al-Quaeda.

I've attached an enlightening and tear jerking video. John McCain then and now. He has the most experience and is most qualified for the job of all the candidates from either side.

I voted for McCain in the Republican primary. It would not make any difference with regards to 9/11 and Iraq. Both would have happened with McCain in the Oval Office instead of Bush.

No. The timing was not right. McCain would have entered Iraq differently but how we authorized the use of force, necessary, may never have passed without a Bush President. Clinton was still a power house then.

remember? McCain would have butted heads with them.
Every time has it's place & place a time.

Edit: I guess I neglected to mention how actively I campaign on here for McCain. I stand behind my convictions.

I voted for McCain the first time. The only reason I voted for Bush was because he was against Gore (and subsequently Kerry).

Definitely.

Of course for that to happen someone would have had to have kidnapped the Turdblossom... he was solely responsible for Bush's victory in the primaries due to his smear campaign against McCain.

Not that I'm so crazy about McCain either.

If it was a choice between those two I would choose McCain simply because McCain wouldnt be as crazy and also there would be no Dick Cheney.

Yes. McCain is, as much as possible in politics, his own man. He ain't afraid of much.

Dubya has been a puppet for decades. The problem with puppets is, you can never be sure who or what is pulling the strings.

Like we know what McCain would have done under the same circumstances. I like McCain but none of us has a crystal ball or time machine.

I would have rather seen Alan Keyes than George W. Bush, and I think Keyes is a bona fide nutjob.

Yes. I have never voted for or supported a buhs. Never will. The bush family is bad for America, as history has proven.
