I had a fracture in my ankle about 3 months ago. When I got my leg brace off a month ago it felt pretty good. But now my ankle is starting to hurt again.

I don't really want to go to my doctor, so is there anything I can do around home to "re-heal" my ankle? (like keeping it warm or cold)

Get an ankle brace and wear it everyday. I didn't even break mine just sprained it badly. It was at least nine months before it was mostly pain free but it was still feeling unstable a year later and I wear the brace sometimes yet if I am going to be doing a lot of walking on uneven ground. Broken bones take a year to heal completely to the strength they were before the break so slow down, take it a little easy and see a physical therapist for some exercised to help strengthen the muscles that were also injured when you had the break.

Check with your doctor. You may need some physiotherapy if the joint is stiff. There is also a chance that you could have re-injured it.
