When PETA is in the wrong where animals are concerned it is a " misunderstanding or any lame excuse will do - just overlook our behavior and punish everyone else" .

How can they believe they are exempt from punishment just by claiming to be PETA and love animals ? How do they keep doing this year after year and no one seems to care?

Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS), which requires “humane societies” to annually report their euthanasia rates. PETA filed the required “Animal Record” reports from 1998 to 2005.

These records show that during those years, PETA killed over 14,400 dogs, cats, and other shelter pets at its Norfolk headquarters.

I've been fed up with PETA for years, A friend of mine breeds show cats and at one of the shows a gang of PETA nut jobs came in, let a bunch of cats out of their cages and held the doors open so they could run out of the building.

Several cats were killed when they ran, terrified, into the street and were run over. Most were rounded up by their owners but, were so frightened they could not be calmed down for several days.

Certifiable psychos! Someone needs to shut them down!

I really dont agree with PETA killing or "putting down" the animals at the shelters... simply because they arent getting enough donations or support... especially when its the animals they support.

I support PETA and almost treat animals like humans (if only they could talk).. so I strongly disagree with the killing... but PETA has done a lot of other good things for the worlds animals and has stopped more killing and abuse then we know.

I support animal rights but I can't stand PETA. Doing crazy stuff and making disgusting ads isn't the way to get people to start caring about animal well being. They are nut jobs!

That's about 2,000 a year. So what was the alternative and what was the reason for all these deaths?
I think you should let us know those facts as well.
You don't keep an animal alive if it is suffering and incurable.

As long as they loved them to death, I see no problem. As for caring, are they the same people who want to take free roamers like cats and stuff them in a house? declaw them to make them defenseless? I pay little attention to most idiots because I believe they're an aberration of nature.

PETA are the worst load of scumbags in America. I cheer on celebrities who wear fur just to spite them.

I'm more concerned about the hypocrites that run the nation. PETA's not even on my radar.

Why would we be tired of a group of terrorists who lecture us about wearing leather or eating chicken while they simultaneously slaughter dogs and cats?
