There is an employee who is writing down every move I make, what time I leave my desk, what time I came back, what time I go pee and reports it to the boss. It's illegal to video and audio monitor in the workplace without authorization from the person being monitored, is this the same for writing down monitoring?

You must not be in the U.S., cuz here it's legal to video monitor the workplace.

Maybe try turning the tables on the employee by writing down everything he does... Until the point where you both are writing down that the other is writing stuff down.

if the boss hasn't fired this annoying deadbeat, there must be a reason-----and im sure its legal. the boss obviously pays this guy to spend his time watching you.
