I haven't seen the movie but I do remember a story on the History Cannel (I think) about a pilot who was actually half sucked out of the cockpit of a passenger jet because the wrong bolts had been used to replace the window when it was serviced. Another fellow in the cockpit hung on the pilot's legs for dear life to keep him from being pulled out completely.

The guy survived and the copilot landed the plane. The pilot remained conscious for a while and said he could see parts of the exterior of the plane. I remember him saying something about having to turn his head a certain direction in order to breathe. It sounded like the worst thing was the incredible blast of the freezing cold air.

I haven't seen that movie (don't WANT to since Tom Cruse and his FOUL MOUTH is in it!); but I can tell you, NO ONE could survive that! The air is too thin and he would DIE!!!
