My partner ALWAYS flips the channels on me and yes I do get mad. I tell him make up your freaking mind as to what channel we are going to watch. I am sick of watching a program for 10 minutes and then he decides he doesn't like it and he flips over to something else.

I live alone, so there is no one to get mad at me if I was to channel flip. But it is a very rare thing for me to do anyway. The only time that I do channel flip is if I can not find anything on at all, and that it's self is rare.

No we share the TV and the remote. We usually like the same programs and enjoy the time together so one of us will surf the channel guide and we will both pick out something that we want to watch. Sometimes we like something different. He likes football on Sundays and I will do something different. Mostly we like the same thing.

He use to get mad for the first 25 years now he just smiles and shakes his head when I flip channels.....He use to grap the remote now, when we sit down to watch TV or a movie, he hands the remote to me. I have know idea when that began.

We usually share, I am not really a channel flipper, tho I have known my husband to be. When he starts that it is usually because there is really nothing worthwhile watching, and he gets bored. That drives me crazy so I just find something else to do and ignore him. But mostly we like the same programs, so there isn't any problem.

Besides, the remote is usually lost anyway.

I live alone, but I think it is rude when someone starts channel surfing, because they don't like the program that is being watched. My girlfriend's husband just surfs during commercials, and sometimes he doesn't get back to the show you were watching in time to see what you were waiting on. It is annoying.

When I had a partner, we had many arguments over this. I am happy to now live alone & have no one to mess with my stuff or give me headaches over the channels or the programs that I choose!

This really means that there isn't anything worthwhile to watch, anyway! [and how much do we pay for TV?!]

We get 'upset' w/each other, but that's why I have a computer and TV in another room! Why hassle w/surfing if you are both content watching what you want?! Easy, done deal! You both are happier! Best wishes!

I don't get a chance to flip channels. My hubby has the remote in his holster on his hip and if I reach for the remote he draws it first and shots !!! lol

AS the remote is super glued to his palm, I don't have much choice in the matter and usually leave the room. He goes through a lot of batteries so that should tell you what watching with him is like.
