Eleven pipers piping = 2*11 = 22
Ten lords a-leaping = 3*10 = 30
Nine ladies dancing = 4*9 = 36
Eight maids a-milking = 5*8 = 40
Seven swans a-swimming = 6*7 = 42
Six geese a-laying = 7*6 = 42
Five golden rings = 8*5 = 40
Four calling birds = 9*4 = 36
Three French hens = 10*3 = 30
Two turtle doves = 11*2 = 22
Partridge in a pear tree! = 12*1 = 12

Total number of gifts over 12 days = 364
