Paris Hilton spent the longest time in jail, a whole 22 days. Nicole Richie for less than a week, and Lyndsay Lohan not even two hours... FOR DUI's!!!

If they were regular citizens, they would have done at least a month in jail, gotten their license's taken away, been on probation, and probably have to go to AA meetings. How is this right?

Yes, absolutely!

The cops should keep special gold-plated billy clubs on hand to beat their @$$es with.

Not at all, celebrities just people, so what if they are famous, it doesn't matter, people are people, I feel every person should at least follow the law. I don't care if they won an award for best supporting actor or whatever, if they break the law, they need to deal with the consequences!

I don't think celebrities get such special treatment as many people believe. Unless it's a 2nd or subsequent offense, nobody stays in jail for long on a DUI because of overcrowding. It's a revolving door. Celebrities are actually more likely to get harsher treatment because they often are used to set an example.

No offense, yet I advise you're at a loss for words. whilst against the regulation like DV attack happens, the suspect is arrested. merely like Chris brown became into, and merely like the suspect in vast Lakes. the version being that Brown had the components to bond out. As for the guy "dealing with 4 years in detention center for annoyed attack and 5 years for tried homicide". So what. that's what he's dealing with if got here upon responsible, he hasn't even been formally charged yet. you're leaping the gun super time. You needless to say do no longer seem to comprehend the version between arrest and conviction.

It's not right at all. Instead of special treatment, I think they should get double the penalties.

It isn't right. Maybe if these people had to actually pay the consequences for their own actions, they wouldn't be so messed up.

It's not. But look at OJ. In this country if you are rich enough you can get away with murder.

WHY?!?!?!?!?

All that they've done is some ACTING (and some of them can barely do that right) - you don't see SHAKESPEARIAN actors getting away with DUI's...

>:(

It isn't right but unfortunately they have the fame and money to make it right.
