Isn't it amazing to think that the internet was produced so long ago?

Yes, I did know that. But I think that it has only been in "civilian use" for about 15 years.

Yes really interesting but what attracts me more at the story it is the reason it was first produced for ... USA military who can guess that we use everyday a product for the military

I thought it was the 40's or early 50's...........I've heard aboot that, it was at least twenty times the size of our modern computers, used plugs and switches as opposed to keyboard and mouse, and needed a room full of people to function it; very simplistic computer. half the things we have today was developed by the military. Its only after its declassified civilians put the technology to good use in the civilian world.

yes, I don't know the details but it was created by ARPANET or something like that? as a node to node communication during war.

I wonder what other technology the military is developing right now.
