Most likely that .dll file is only 1 symptom of the malware. So you deleting the file won't do any good because the malware is still there and just respawning it on reboot.

As a security professional I absolutely never recommend the use of freeware... so perhaps that is part of your problem.
I always recommend a proper security suite that includes antivirus, firewall, antispyware, etc... from a reliable vendor (like mcafee, norton, kaspersky, panda, etc) that is properly configured and kept completely up to date...

I would suggest you first attempt a web based scan from a reliable vendor site like http://housecall65.trendmicro.com and see if it can detect and remove the malware. If nothing else... hopefully it can tell you the name of what you are infected with and then you can look it up someplace equally as reliable like symantec.com or mcafee.com

If it can remove the malware... get rid of that freeware and get a proper suite. If it does not, get a proper suite and see if you can remove it yourself. If not, get a reliable and qualified technician to sort things out before you lose all your data.

Good Luck

try runnin the antivirus in safe mode, and also, make sure it is actually freezing, some times the computer will stop, continue processing and make the illusion that it is frozen, somtimes even say "not responding" leave it a while, if not u might have to reboot so back up all ur files in safe mode and be careful nit to back up hidden files of the virus.
