name was in the Mitchell Report listed as a steroid user, then shouldn't Curt Schilling have to give back his 2001 World Series Ring because the Arizona Diamondbacks slugger Matt Williams was on that team and he was listed as a steroid user in the Mitchell Report. You see where I'm going here? Schilling is a hypocrite, you agree?

Schilling should give back his salary for all those years on the Phillies with Lenny Roids Dykstra, and the years with the D-Backs with Matt Roids Williams.

Schilling has a blog. He writes pieces expressing his opinion on line. No one proof reads his views. There is no editorial board. It is just one man's views, that's all. He might not even mean everything that he posts, he may be content throwing an intellectual grenade at us and watching how it goes. Schilling had something to say on national radio (either FSR or ESPN) back in May about Bonds and his record. Bonds declined to take the bait, but plenty of other people did. Does Curt Schilling think that Commissioner Selig is going to strip Clemens of his Cy Young Awards? Does Schilling think Selig knows his elbow from a hole in the ground? Schilling is using the First Amendment to skewer someone who has been named in the Mitchell Report. Is the Mitchell Report based on competent evidence. Some, but not all. Certainly where Senator Mitchell had cancelled checks and UPS mailing labels, the evidence is compelling. Yes, Gagne is a complete idiot for paying for illegal drugs by check and having them sent to the Dodgers clubhouse instead of to a mailboxes etc under an assumed name. But that type of evidence was lacking against Clemens, just the unsupported testimony of McNamee. So, no, Schilling is not a hypocrite, he is just stirring the pot, something he enjoys doing.

Curt Schilling is just trying to be the poster boy for the MLB he feels left out of the spot light so he needs to run his big mouth!!! Do I agree with what he is saying NO, reason why is there is no hard evidence on the Rocket!!! Plus there are a 69 other players on that list so if he is going to throw a temper tantrum about the Rocket he should include the other players in the list!!! What about Bonds???

According to ESPN, some people questioned whether Mitchell being a director of the Red Sox created a conflict, especially because no Red Sox "prime players were in the report."

Honestly, I dont see your logic here. A Cy Young is an individual world. A World Series is a team award. One player does not make up a team. Roger Clemens cheated. He used steroids. There is no way around it. Without the steroids, I have doubts whether Clemens would have been able to pitch that late into his career, let alone win 4 Cy Youngs. If you are gonna persecute Barry Bonds like has been persecuted, you gotta do the same to the Rocket. Look, Schilling is famous for being a bit outspoken, but it doesnt make him a hypocrite.

Since when was a WORLD SERIES title only given to ONE person? You see where I'M going with this?

Schilling was right about what he wrote in HIS blog and from most of the "questions" i've seen on the subject here, I'm convinced almost none of you actually read it. I would suggest before one more idiot hack starts bashing Curt Schilling about what he wrote about Roger Clemens you should go to his website and ACTUALLY READ WHAT YOU'RE ALREADY SO MAD ABOUT!

Now former Yankee relief pitcher "Goose" Gossage is saying the same thing, are you all going to trash him too?

how can you call schilling a hypocrite?
what hes doing is a good thing, he didnt take steroids, there is noone saying he did, there are no mailnig lists with his name on them, there are no positive tests
he is calling out all the cheaters, unlike the union, mlb or other players, none of whom have the balls to admit baseball made mistakes and that everyone in mlb is guilty in one way or another, hes admitted he wasnt perfect in the whole either
that makes me angry that you think its ok for people on here or for the media to say things like "bonds should have an asterisk" or clemens should give back his cy youngs, but if another player says it, its wrong?
sounds to me like youre the hypocrite

no, becuase by that philoshipy the last years of baseball would have to be wiped clean. THERE WAS A PLAYER FROM EVERY TEAM on the mitchell report, so by ure extended logic every team should be disqualififed. schilling is only saying clemens individual award should be taken back, but if u extend the logic too far it wont work

If not for Clemens helping him with his training habits and correcting many discrepancies in his mechanics, Schilling would probably not even be pitching in the "Bigs" today. I wonder if Curt was thinking of that while he was throwing the Rocket under the bus.

Being a self promoter doesn't make a person right. I just finished reading the Mitchell report and it's nothing but 409 pages of "hearsay". There is not one piece of concrete evidence to be found anywhere.

He was asked by the Mitchell investigating committee to testify and like everyone else with the exception of Giambi and Frank Thomas, he refused. Why? Curt needs to mind his own business.

There's a difference between an individual award and a team award. Schilling is not suggesting that Clemens and all the Yankees give back their Rings, and they had many more abusers reported than the D-Backs.

I agree, Curt Schilling always has a opinion and usually a very firm one. He does not mind it being public either
