Might have a point there. MIGHT being the operative word. If you look at the fiscal situation of the US and who their real allies are you might want to re-evaluate "the most powerful country" statement. The press works real hard to project the "power image" & succeeds to a large extent but considering what's transpired over the last 30 - 40 years, if push came to shove I think the US government might have to shake, rattle and roll a LOT to call in their markers. It's shakey and most unstable at this point. Word has been for many years that if you come from NA and are travelling abroad, sport a Canadian flag. It poses no threat or causes any intimidation. Canadians may be considered wimps. That's a good thing to be, believe it or not. Most Asians and Europeans associate the US with bullying and arrogance. I've met some very fine US citizens who exemplify what their country originally had dreams of, but also many others who have done little more than to shame that country and do little more than to exemplify the hipocrasies it seems to be inundated with today. When will ANY government ever come to understand that they're own people can be the emmissaries of the good will they profess to emminate? Bush has been no more than a puppet, as has many leader of ANY government world- wide. Congress in any state has always had more power than the leader as a person. Politics. Which is comprised ALWAYS of human beings with hidden agendas. Bush was chosen for his role.

Let the thumbs down rain, tonight. The more I get ... the more I prove the theory.

i think bush is ok. The reason is b/c any info i get on the man i dont get from the liberal media. People are angry about the war in Iraq. We fought in Afghanistan to disrupt terrorists, why should we leave Iraq only to hand it over to terrorists. An Iraq is an even better place for them than Afghanistan with its oil.

The American economy is doing great. Especially if u factor in the 2 wars we are in. we are a world power. Every one hates the world power. No one liked the Romans, the Greeks, the Persians the English and so on when they were in power either, yet they contributed more to the world than any of those who hated them. America contributes more technology, philosophy, science and so on to the world then any one else now or ever before. They are even further along in “clean energy” than anyone else.

An to the Canadian lover, if it wasn’t for America Canada would be owned by the British, french, communists in general Japanese or Nazis. Love your country all u want I couldn’t care less, but don’t put down the country that a gave u the ability to live in the first place

I don't diss the old guy, I hate him he's the devil himself, you know what he's done to other people, what the damage he has done, I would say like a hole bunch of things to that Lucifer in person, but the fact is that I don't have to, there all over the internet including the evidence.

Maybe I don't have the experience of being a president, but if I were I would think about the poor instead of the rich daddies.

U.S.A. is beautiful but if it's with the goverment of Bush or any republic prepare to live in hell.

Please, I hope this didn't offend you, i don't want that.

Where have You been for the last seven years? the man has put Us in a financial hole with, the wars in AFGHANISTAN and, IRAQ which, We will never dig Our way out of and, His knowledge of domestic issues (which should concern Us much more than, anything happening elsewhere in the world) is, it would seem, non existent. no. I don't think I could do a better job but then, I don't pretend that I could, either. in the not too distant past, We had presidents who, did much better. I don't think that it was a coincidence that, they were all democrats.

Bush is a terrible President, he has us in a war that most of the country does not support, the economy is terrible, his foreign policy is whacked, and no one should forget the way he handled 9/11 and hurricane Katrina

I don't know about anyone else but hearing someone say that the Constitution of the United States is "just a F@#%ing piece of paper".get to me.

I am sorry, but the Constitution means more to me than that. Even Gonzalez refered to it as an out dated piece of paper.

Forget that he lied to us and got us to believe that we needed to invade another country. Forget that he has his own agenda and he could care less who takes over after he is gone. Just his outlook and quotes on the paper that our founding fathers drew up as a way of life in this new world that they had come to live in, is enough for me to diss him.

A comatose baboon could do better than Bush. He is a disgrace to America and the world. Bush is one of the worst presidents in American history, if not THE worst.

I think it is because of the many lies upon lies that he has bestowed upon the American people. And I also believe that he comes across has a very arrogant person to most poeple you talk to whom dislike him.
