Depends on where you live. That's a pretty decent salary I'd say. But your living expenses are what makes it a lot or not, so if you live in a state where it's really expensive to live, that's not going to seem like a lot. You can look up the average income for your state online though, and check it out and compare it with your own.

It's a good salary. You are not rich, but you are definitely doing well. If you are living in New York City, this is not as great a salary as if you live in a small mid-western farm community. In other words, your wealth is not just determined by the size of your salary, but also by the cost of living in your area.

Don't think age has anything to do with earnings. For a man with limited education and no trade to speak of, That amount is fair compensation. For an individual with trade school or high school who has a specialized job, he should be doing better than $ 60,000. A college grad with a specialty has to do better than that or it is a wasted education.

No. Average starting salary for engineers is about $52,000. That's 22 years old making $52,000. After two years, the average engineer would be over $60,000.

Depends on the area you live in, depends on the work you will be doing, and depends on your skill level.
In most places, you could live comfortably with 60K a year, and you may even be able to save for your retirement. Is it decent? Perhaps YES. Is it A LOT? No... it's not.

All depends where you live. If you live in the mid-west or south that is pretty damn good. If you live in southern California you would just barely get by without having a bunch of roommates

Age has nothing to do with it.
Yes, $60,000 is a very good salary except in New York City.

That would depend on were you live. In CA no that's not much in some Southern states then it would be. You can go online to the department of labor or the employment office of your state.

No. It is not "a lot". I am under 40 and make more than that in Houston - which has a very low cost of living.

That is a tricky question to answer, it depends on the cost of living, the lifestyle and the job description.
