IF something happened to the President, and congress said we have to vote in Feb for a new President, who would you chose?

I know Cheney would be president--but if for some reason the law had to be quickly amended, who would it be--hyopthetical question .

# Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi
# President pro tempore of the Senate Robert Byrd
# Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice
# Secretary of the Treasury Henry Paulson
# Secretary of Defense Robert Gates
# Attorney General Alberto Gonzales
then a whole bunch of others.
Now, if you bump off all of them, I'll vote for Hillary.

Well government procedure tells us that Cheney would become president. However if for some ungodly reason we had to vote I'd vote for Fred Thompson.

haha the fbi is probaly on your their way to your house right now. i wouldent be able to vote yet! id just have to sit back and bite my fist.. i just hope EVERYONE votes this time. more americans voted for that dumb show american idol than the election. then they get pissy when they dont like their presedient? ok really guys? i hope they all learned their lesson.
