What do you think about schilling, do you think he is right about saying clemens should give back his awards. Or is he bitter that clemens has more awars than him.

Schilling should be aware that every player that has laced up a pair of cleats for the last 25 years is under suspicion, including himself.

His comments were utterly ridiculous. I just can't believe how stupid Schilling is. You are not guilty just because some report says you are. There has been no proof that Clemens ever did this, just accusations. If an ex red sock, say Johnny Damon, came out and said that Schilling used steroids should Schilling have to give back his world series rings? I don't think so! This is such a ridicolous comment that is makes me sick. Plus, I am paying to watch the BEST at a sport, I don't care if they kill their body with steroids to become the best.

If you read the full context of Schilling's statement, he first acknowledges the help Clemens gave his early career. But then, citing what he has said about other 'cheaters', he said the same should apply to him. It isn't a 'Clemens attack', he is simply staying with his beliefs about steroids. AFAIK, he has never made the Clemens->steriods connection prior to the Mitchell report, while he has publicly bashed Bonds (to the point where people actually thought Bonds might sue Schilling over it).

As far as teams giving up awards because of 'juiced players', I suspect if the full unadulterated truth was uncovered, you would have NO titles for anyone going back who knows how many years in multiple sports (not the title being handed down to another team, VACANT UNAWARDED titles due to all 29 or so runnerups being ineligible as well). I heard a radio caller say that the level of testosterone that sets up the 'fail' flag for the test is over THREE times the MAXIMUM level that is natural. If your testosterone is merely 2 1/2 times over maximum, then you pass the test. Who knows how many players are juicers but yet pass due to them just not using enough to flunk the test...

Schilling loves to give his opinion on everything that goes on! Schilling feels that he might have won those Cy Young Awards that Clemens won if The Rocket had not been allegedly been using performance enhancing drungs.

I agree with Schilling!

Clemens should give back his Cy Young Awards and also face jail time!

I think Schilling should shut up since a team mate of his when he played with the Diamondbacks was caught using steroids/ HGH. Is Schilling willing to give back his Diamonback World Serie ring because his team mate was juiced?

Schilling likes to talk on his computer. He should have called people out when he was in front of congress when it mattered, but he just sat there and asked why he was there. What a little baby.

As a Red Sox fa Curt need to shut up on things that do not involve him in anyway. Its not like he is the commissioner of Baseball and makes rules or a trainer giving things to players accused or caught, He is the kind of player that is a good player on the field but off it can be a pain in th ***. He should be worried more bout his own life than that off other and let the Commissioner's office or if it comes to it the government to hand out the penalties for proven cases that can still be penalized. Curt is just one of those kind of people who must speak his mind and he doesn't care what fans or players say to him.

Oh please, this is just the tempest-in-a-teapot du jour.

Canseco has repeatedly acknowledged using steroids, and has not yet offered to return his 1988 AL MVP, nor has the BBWAA asked for its return.

If the witch hunt must continue, it should proceed at least in a rational order.

As for reasoning that Schilling thinks he might have won various CYAs over Rocket... let's review.

Clemens // award // Schilling
1997 -- AL CYA (Toronto) -- with Philadelphia (NL)
1998 -- AL CYA (Toronto) -- with Philadelphia (NL)
2001 -- AL CYA (NY Yankees) -- with Arizona (NL)*
2004 -- NL CYA (Houston) -- with Boston (AL)

Doesn't appear that Rocket's awards really conflicted with Schilling's chances.

* Opposing starters in 2001 World Series Game 7.
