It was Sergei Fedorov on December 26, 1996, he scored all 5 of Detroit's goals against Washington. Obviously, the turkey was a good one!

I am pretty sure I remember Red Berensoon, (the Red Baron) score 6 against the Flyers back in the lat 60s or early 70s when he played for the Blues

It was Mario Lemieux, and though I forget the exact date the game was a thing of beauty, he scored a goal every possible way in regulation. a) even strength b) powerplay c) short-handed d) 4 on 4 and e) on a penalty shot. I remember the hi-light reels showing all 5 as their hi-light of the night.

federov is the correct answer, however, his was in overtime, the last one in regulation was lemieux...And finally marian gets the publicity he deserves....best goal scorer in the league....and he had two great chances for 6 (and possibly 7)...but he just missed
