Ok so i am on the basketball team for my school. I am a Pretty good basketball player. I love to play. Well, My team never passes me the ball because im left handed. When they do they YELL at me because im shooting wrong or something. They will yell at me that there open and like yell at me alot. Like one girl will yell at me if i do something wrong once if i make the shot then there like nice shot. I wanna quit the team but i dont think i am going to. Im getting sick and tired of people telling me when i can and cant shoot.. The other problem is that I've told my coach before that i was thinking about quiting but he told me to stay. The only reason why this all started is because im left handed. Please help

Like they never made a mistake. Yeah, I totally understand what your talking about. I used to play for my school and they did me the exact same way because I was a freshman on the varsity team. I think that is so silly of them to,'' HATE'' on you because you're left handed. Dont quit, it'll only make them happy and do you want to let them see you fail.. to be a quitter? No, be strong in what you do and if you know you can do it then DO IT. You better show them up and because you're left handed Id practice even harder to shut them up. Try not to listen to them. I know that its hard not to listen to them but you do what you know how to do. Are they coaches? No, I didnt think so maybe you should tell them that. Good luck :) and be STRONG.

Does everyone know your left handed or do you just stay quiet about this fact? How friendly are your team-mates? Any of them friends? What has your couch said about your playing style? This really could be resolved with some sit down heart-to-heart, if everyone else is mature enough, but would need to know more info, I've got a e-mail address on the profile if you wish to discuss it, but the best thing I can sujest is letting them know that your a lefty and that your going to do things a bit backwards looking to them, but just as good.....
