Well Spell Check,...... now I have the song is stuck in my head..so in the spirit of the season ..giving and all....I thought I would pass the words along in the hopes that others is as lucky as I am and will in turn get them stuck in theirs....lol = )
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas,
Just like the ones I used to know.
Where the tree-tops glisten,
And children listen
To hear sleighbells in the snow.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas,
With every Christmas card I write,
"May your days be merry and bright,
And may all your Christmases be white".
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas,
Just like the ones I used to know.
Where the tree-tops glisten,
And children listen
To hear sleighbells in the snow.
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas,
With every Christmas card I write,
"May your days be merry and bright,
And may all your Christmases be white".
**** I really am getting old...I can't believe some posters thought this might be about race or a racial jab ....times has changed..and I am not to sure some things have for the better : (..... Have A Very Merry Christmas !!!...I am hoping it will be a white one.... : 0

Stop dreaming, wake up and smell the coffee. The world went insane years ago.
I remember White Christmases. Born in Akron, Oh. There were some doozies. Now I live in Florida. The only snow we get here comes in a spray can.
You look different. Did you shave?

Bing Crosby sang this song about A White Christmas, meaning snow falling on Christmas Day.
I live in New Zealand, so it's summer over here.
Snow is not racist, neither is mud!
For your last sentence........Yes, the world has, or is , going completely insane!!!
But............there is a plan.

Yes! I'd also like to respond to Jose S.'s comment regarding a white Christmas being racial. It has nothing to do with race. It refers to the beautiful freshly fallen white snow that covers the ground. It refers to purity of heart which doesn't know the meaning of race just kind loving hearts. Which as anyone will tell you is in whites, blacks, orients, or any person that cares about another and does things for another without thinking of his or her race, religion, or gender. I hope that clarifies it.

While this may be some thinly-veiled jab at black people, I think that we all understand, including the late great soul singer Nat King Cole who sang White Christmas like no other, that the white referred to in the song is indeed...snow! Happy Holidays.
