If you were walking down the street and there was a monkey ringing the United Way bell in front of that red bucket and you've walked past several of these buckets that day. Are you giving because that monkey is cute or are you actually giving because you care?

WELLL, it could be from pure dee guilt. Or... If I made eye contact with the cute monkey.... I might just dig a little deep into my pockets....then my other pockets....then my purse.... then maybe my kid's pockets, too. hahaha

I always, always, always put money in the red bucket. There are a lot of times when I'm out shopping and I have no cash on me, but I always dig down into the deep dark depths of my purse and at least pull out all the spare change that I can find!
So, monkey or no, I'll always put something in the red bucket!

I would give because the monkey is cute. I would inform him that if he came home with me then I would pay him much more than United Way can. If all worked out then I would take him home with me and treat him like a baby.
