Why do you need hi octane 2 cycle gas? Most 2 strokes can run 87, trimmers, chainsaws, etc... What are you trying to run, boat, snowmobile, dirt bike? Is it high compression? Octane is often misunderstood. Higher octane = less volatile fuel it resists detonation, perfect for high compression, turbo, supercharged. Regularly fuel is atomized and drawen into the engine, then it if compressed and ignited via spark plug. In hi po engines the compression pressure exceeds what 87 can resist igniting and explodes due to heat and pressure ( this is how diesel engines work, heat and pressure cause ignition) When heat and pressure caus ignition (not spark) in a gas engine it's called detonation or knocking or pinging. This will damage your engine(detonation), higher octane will resist detonation better and wont help an engine that runs fine on 87 octane, so bottom line do you really need high octane?

Make?

Goto a local small airport. The kind that has pivate pilots around. Buy AV-GAS. They are about 105 to 110 octane gas. Buy some from there. When I was in college my buddies used to get their "racing" gas (or high octane gas) like this.

No need to make any.

Good Luck.

any grade gas will work fine in the mix but 2 strokes were designed for lower grades there might be a problem with the performance of the engine which is the wrong fuel mixture carb. needing rebuilt or fuel filter replaced but I have seen a lot of sooty oil build up in the exhaust.. give more info on what type piece of equipment this is for..
