My hubby and sons have lots of guns they use for hunting everything from squirrels to deer.

Not any more. Not to brag, but I got so used to them, I couldn't miss. That kinda took the fun out of them, yet I still had to clean them once a month to protect them. So I sold 'em. Wish I still had my Marlin, though. Never used a sighting scope--didn't seem sporting. Rabbits, Deer and the occaisional stray varmint. Mostly target stuff like bottles-the tougher the shot, the better. My folks wouldn't let me own a gun as a youngster, so I didn't get any practice 'till I joined the Army. Made expert in boot camp(barely, 90 out of 100), and I caught the hunting bug. By the time I was 31, I'd pretty much wore myself out, so I gave it up. Shoulda been a sniper instead of a repairman.:)

And also I feel safer having a gun.

nope because in IRVINE shooting any gun is illegal even B.B.Gun unless your a police in danger
