South Americans drive on the right side of the road. Also, the Pan American Highway runs through all of Central America, including the Panama Canal, and through most of South America.

driving depends should be right side but in some areas there are no real rules. there are some areas with just narrow dirt roads.

The only places people drive on the left side of the road are the UK and its recent previous colonies.

in costa rica they drive on the right like the U.S. and i think the divide between central and south america is the panama canal
