about 2:00 am when my bro jumped on me and knocked ALL the air outta my lungs. i couldn't breath so i thught i woldn't even be alive FOR christmas.

My parents like to tell this story about when I was 3. I woke up one morning to find some presents under the tree, I happily opened them much to my parents surprise. I was very excited even though the gifts weren't for me.
It was 1 week before Christmas and I had opened gifts that my parents had wrapped for friends of theirs and put under the tree to look pretty.

one year, my sister got up at 2:30 am just to look at the lights on the tree (picture a tacky looking A Christmas Story tree, lol) and presents, it was just beautiful. When I went upstairs to get my sister a blanket (it was the one day out of the year we got along when we were kids) I knocked something down the stairs and woke up our mother, who sent us back to bed. Mom says she regrets sending us back to bed to this day.
Ok a little more info than you asked for, but damn, thats a feel good memory for me :)

My kids used to wake me up like 4 am and I wouldn't let them get up yet. So I got the idea to put their stocking in their room so they would have something to do till it was time to get up.

12:01 then i go back to bed till 8 which is when we are allowed to wake my parents.
