Yes. A 16 year old is not an adult. If they can't keep their room clean what makes you think they are going to have safe sex.

There is no such thing as safe sex. Any sexual contact runs the risk of pregnancy or disease. With that in mind, you should ask is there anything wrong with a 16 year old risking becoming pregnant or catching a disease that could be fatal?

16 year OlDs are still developing their brain, especially the parts that make decisions. The fact that they are still under the authority of their parents or guardians makes it THEIR business to ensure the safety of that juvenile.

As for governments, what if the person having sex with the 16 year old is a relative or an adult? The government has an obligation to protect the 16 year old.

Unless the legal age is 16 below, then we have a problem. It could have been an even worse problem had the person not used a contrceptive during the act of copulation. To answer your question, IT IS WRONG FOR A 16 YEAR YEAR OLD TO **** WITH SOMEONE ELSE, EVEN IF THAT PERSON HAS PROTECTION, BECAUSE HE OR SHE IS A MINOR! Looks like America's "core and conservative values" went DOWN THE DRAIN. If a Democrat wins, we're flushed to Armagedon.

No. I did it at 15 and my boyfriend (16) and that i have been together for 2 years. It in uncomplicated words made issues undesirable. we are nonetheless proper acquaintances, yet now that i'm 18 now I choose i might want to have waited for someone exceptional and that i realized I under no circumstances quite loved him. basically imagine about what's better for you and each of the disadvantages in touch.

Regardless of people's conservative ideals, there's not a whole lot they can do about it, anyway.

I mean, you do your best to educate your kids, and HOPEFULLY part of that education is the use of contraceptives and/or condoms.

Current statistics show that 37-40% of all teens have had their first intercourse by 16.

People are entitled to their beliefs, but let's stop hiding our heads in the sand, people.

Allow total access to contraception and (like the Netherlands) put the EMPHASIS on pregnancy ~ not the sex.

LOL .. the only safe sex is abstinence. At 16 most partners are not honest with their lovers.

Besides at 16 if you are not taking care of yourself how can you justify the possibility of taking care of a child?

yes,Jamie Spears can't keep the repub party going and her white trash repub mother can't write about how a repub raises their kids with morals. she learned abstinence and then a Christian boy helped her practice it. Brittany supported Bush and showed the world how to be a repub role model.
