That it was nice of him to notice his mistake and bring me the card.

Could have been an honest mistake. He may have simply opened not realizing it wasn't at the correct address.
It's also possible that he's nosy and just couldn't help it.
I seriously doubt that he did it on purpose though. These things are known to happen. If he's not already a seemingly shady character, you're probably not living next to a serial killer or anything.
Merry X-mas. haha

If it was simply unsealed, then I would think that the person that sent it simply forgot to seal it. If it was torn open, then I would hope that he opened it by mistake, not realizing it wasn't addressed to him until after he opened and read the card. Unfortunately, there's also the chance that he was hoping there was a cash gift inside. It's really hard to say - perhaps it was really an accident.

I'd let it go. It is a Christmas card. Not a lottery check. And to tell the truth , I don't think he would have brought it to you if he had opened it on purpose. Nothing but nice words go into Christmas cards anyway.

He probably opened it without checking the address. After all, if it is in his mailbox it's fair for him to assume it's his. He realized that it was not his mail after he opened it and began to read it. It's simply an accident. Don't turn it into something bigger.

It's happened to me before. I get the mail and just open it when I see who it's from. Every once in awhile I get one that isn't for me and I usually catch it but sometimes not... especially this time of year. Everybody is getting a lot of mail so some don't realize til they see "Love,..." and you say "Who in the hell is that?".

I wouldn't think anything of it. This time of year, we all get so much mail and it comes in those decorative and colorful envelopes. I could see it as being an honest mistake.
Then again, I am a glass half full kind of gal.

Oh for goodness sake! He no doubt opened it as he was opening his other mail. Big deal. I have done that before. Get in the Xmas spirit, girl.

It's very easy to open mail from the back, assuming it is addressed to you if it's in your mail box.
