Is it?

I'm not saying it's dirty or wrong. I enjoy it to the fullest and think it's an absolutely beautiful way of showing love and affection.

But is it a natural urge? I mean...putting part "A" in part "B" serves an evolutionary purpose. A lot of people feel that urge for mankind to carry on.

Where does the urge for oral come from? Just our imaginations?

Thanks.

Doing things that your partner likes is about as natural as it gets.

I've heard the idea that smelling or tasting your partner can give you some idea about his health, and that he might get some information about your fertility or whether you've had another partner recently. Either way, that would argue that oral sex could help guage reproductive fitness and chances of success. These days, it's just a loving gesture.

Totally natural. Hey, animals do it! It serves an evolutionary purpose, too, if that makes you feel any better--it helps to cement bonds between people, reduce tension, increase happiness. Bonobos (i.e. pygmy chimpanzees) love oral sex, and it helps to reduce tension, to improve ties between individuals, etc. Oral sex serves the same purpose as kissing, if used a lot less frequently and with only a select few individuals one knows.

I believe, that as humans, we are attracted to what feels good. It's like asking 'Why does my cat purr when I pet it?' Also, in the past, oral sex was considered taboo, and to many it seemed like they were breaking the rules.

It can be traced back through history to ancient Egypt. Many people enjoy it both male and female. I think though weather or not it is natural it up to the person or couple.
I for one enjoy it both in reception and performing. Good luck with your dilemma.

As human beings we have all sorts of pleasurable urges that dont have any particular "function"...
This is just one of them. And theres a definite urge to do it, so on some level its instinctual.

If it wasn't natural you couldn't do it.
