If so, what do you like about her platform? I was just thinking as a middle income white male, if she was president I might go broke. I can see why the rich and not so fortunate minorities would like to see her in office, but what does she offer for us white middle class citizens?

I am a republican by the way. I'm just curious to see if I'm missing anything or what people of my demographic find appealing about her.

She has lots of political BS in her cart... but when she gets up to the cash register she has no money to pay for it... she is a bunch of hot air trying to fool the American public and I hope people have more sense then that or we will all need shovels to dig us out of deep S***.

I'm a Caucasian, middle income, male who supports Obama.

Obama supports a real overhaul of the health care system addressing issues at every level; Insurance, providers, developers, employers, and the citizens. He has put together a plan that does have the ability to gain congressional support and become law.

Obama has stated he will immediately begin the with drawl of all combat troops, he doesn't want to pull all troops out immediately but will bring 1 to 2 brigades home per month until all combat troops are safe at home with their families. He supports some real diplomatic solutions to resolve the conflict with Iraq that doesn't involve a US military solution.

Barack has the knowledge, intelligence, candor and overall demeanor to take on the tough challenges rebuild the US relationship with the world and strengthen America as a whole. He also is the most likely democrat to gain independent and republican support to ensure a democrat is in the White House in 2009.

i prefer Obama. However, if the choice is between Hillary and a Republican, I'd go with Hillary. She had Bill to make sure she doesn't screw up too bad. the democrats look out for the middle class.

Poor people don't value education. Rich people can afford top private education. The middle class are the ones relying on public education. Bush is an idiot and has been degrading the school system.

The ideal situation would be Hillary running with Obama. That way we can have 16 years of Democrats. That's how long it'll take to fix up Bush's mess.

Did you go broke when the economy was soaring, stocks were soaring housing was booming, business was thriving, etc, under Bill? A return to Clintonomics is what Hill offers. It Beats the hell out of a continuation of Bushonomics any day. Economic stability, financial security, and myriad chances to get rich, are what Hill offers the middle class...white, black, and othewise.

You are describing the hard working man (not exclusive to Caucasian) that has a family or alternate lifestyle. A man planning for eventual retirement and college for the kids. A man concerned about handing down a huge debt to their children and needing quality health care for later years. A man wanting world peace--joining together in open duologue to resolve problems and concerns. A man wanting no child to go hungry at night, a good education and a roof over their heads. This is the type of man that would vote for Hillary Clinton
