Jade-SHE's SIXTEEN! A child- maybe a twelve year old would say she was happy about being pregnant-they are both ill equipped emotionally of being a mother. I hope she seeks help at planned parenthood.

codman and megan...how is this political? are you kidding me? The Bush agenda on this issue has been to teach "abstinance" to the youth of the U.S. and the World. International aid from the U.S. was conditional on this issue!

Nope. And if the President had been educated about teenagers having sex, he wouldn't have been so stupid about promoting abstinence in the first place.

Education and access to contraceptives is very important, but that doesn't mean that we can give a free pass to teenagers who are having sex all the time. We need to stop encouraging kids to grow up so fast. Maybe a message of straight up abstinence will fall on deaf ears, but teaching a child to wait until they know they are ready and have found the right person should be a part of every parent's lesson plan.
I think she already knew about contraceptives. There were probably other problems that she had.

alot of good women get pregnate at an early age. i personaly beleive abstinace should be taught. i am very firm on this. if you need to learn how to use contraceptives then you are old enough to raise any children that come out of having sex. sex is a big responsiblity and that should be taught in the home. for formal education i beleive in an abstinance only environment. if you dont have sex then you wont have a baby period. back in the 80's i knew of alot of honers girls, and "good" girls that got pregnate. and they were younger then jamie. i feel sad for jamie becouse she is going threw a very stressful time right in the publics eye. i just pray that she stays away from drinking and drugs and becomes a great mom to her child.

Probably. Sex ed is even taught in the elementary schools and it is all over the TV. I had contraceptives sex education in school when I was 14, so there is no excuse for Miss Spears.
We have to take responsibility for the choices we make at some point and not blame them on other people. It's how we learn.
Had she paid attention and picked abstinence she would not be pregnant.

i think her boyfriend is eighteen and if he's nineteen in maximum states you are able to have intercourse with somebody 3 years aside... and that i'm specific theirs grow to be consentual besides. i think they already filmed the fourth season of Zoey one hundred and one for February. this would end her profession because of the fact i do no longer think of she ought to get into making a music(it quite is a stressful business enterprise) or being an actor different than a toddler one... and he or she of course screwed that up by potential of having pregnant.

Education is good when you pay attention and learn from it. If you dont listen to it and use it, then its pretty much useless. If somebody told her about contraceptives, but she didnt listen, she would have been pregnant anyways. Also, i think teaching hear about contraceptives could give her the impression that its ok to go around sleeping with guys and having sex. She might think that she can go around having sex and she wouldnt have to worry about getting pregnant.
I think its a good thing to practice abstainence and use contraceptives when you just cant seem to abstain from it. Education is also very important.

No offense but this has been all over the internet and news non-stop. This is no shocker they say 1 in 13 America girls have a baby before their 20th birthday. Lets get back to the actually important news. Hollywood is much too overrated.

Yes.The former is not failsafe. The latter is if adhered to.Sanger's aim wasn't education, but rather an elitist agenda. The world is governed in ways most people do not realize. The controlled media and Hegelian partisan politics game conditions people to view diabolical elitists as humanitarians, and exposers of the elitist agenda as paranoid. http://antinewworldorder.blogspot.com/20...

Theoretically, it's possible, but stupid seems to run in that family, so realistically, she'd probably have been pregnant. After all, she was taught abstinence, and I somehow doubt this pregnancy happened spontaneously.

No she would not be pregnant. Abstinance is just another form of ignorance about the human condition. It is very dangerous.
