Absolutely! Get a big pot of boiling water going. Drop handfulls of washed peas in boiling water and blanch for about 1 minute. Remove peas from water and plunge into ice water. When peas are thoroughly cooled, drain and put into freezer bags, squeeze out as much air as possible, and seal. Should keep for bout 1 year.

Make a sort of 'paella' with half that bag.....use Minute Rice Regular long grain(not in boil bags), follow directions for 3-4 servings, put in half that bag of peas, soy sauce(to taste), butter, and maybe some finely!! sliced white onion...no, cut green onions would be better....when the rice is tender...you've got fantastic rice!!
Keeps excellently well in the frig...covered!!!!
