Avril Lavigne.....hands down.

Neither. Besides, I think it is unfair to say that a band that has been around for 15 years has made any damage. If anything Blink is a credit to punk. I am 25 and have been a fan since 12 or 13 and their music brings back lots of fond memories

Avril was NEVER a punk rocker......she was a pop-tart... not much unlike Pink or Britney Spears..

Blink 182 was more of a punk rock band, I give you that...

So the correct answer would be NEITHER

It was not ruined just changed for the worse when Blink 182 came onto the scene with their tiny d***s and repetitive music. All their songs sound the same. and for that matter so does a lot of Avril''s but I actually like her. SHe has a great voice. Unlike the the tiny "toe" trio.

Avril Lavigne totally.
She tried to flaunt that she was "punk rock".
Blink 182 wasn't always bad.

TRUE punk isn't ruined or dead! its that pop punk crap that radio stations play that pollutes the airwaves of poor, innocent listeners and makes them think that that averyl chick is freaking punk! check out older blink, its pretty rad, and theres a TON of amazing punk rock out there, and theres new stuff coming out daily!
