like a lawn chair, after all the screaming by Pelosi and Reid about not ever signing the spending bill for the war.

Just as I predicted, at the 11th hour, in the middle of the night they signed the bill.

Chi Bro Below:

Yup, me and you said it the same day.

ANTI PNAC Below:

The way I see it, if you are going to say you are going to do something, at least have the conviction to follow through with whatever you said you were going to do.

Instead they say one thing which seems popular based on polls, then at the 11th hour, they do the opposite.

As Chi Bro stated, if they were going to do it, they should have done it from day one, problem solved.

Remember me predicting that some weeks ago? I think you agreed and elaborated in your response to that post.

Dem politicians have the spine of an amoeba. They are the lamest group of people I've ever seen.

I still prefer them winning in 06 which forced Rumsfeld out and Bush to listen to a General for a change. With Rumsfeld gone, the path was set to find a way to lower the level of casualties in Iraq. Therefore the Dem reps haven't done a thing on this issue. It was the message the voters sent that led to some change.

edit: Yep. BTW, good followup on this.

edit: Design (below) If they were going to pull the funding, raight after the 06 elections was the time to do it as they had the momentum. Instead, they chose to use the war as political leverage. I hate them for this as people are dying while both sides play games. Now the Dems would look stupid pulling the funding as the violence is on a down trend. The soldiers are being used by both sides.

Reid and Pelosi are a disgrace. Too many country club Democrats in Congress.

How about the northeast where Clinton is starting the same old Dem cry "save the children", don't they have anything else to run on except higher taxes?

Did you really expect anything different from a democrat. Especially, after the news that the "Surge" is actually working and the death toll has slowed down. They had to or they would have been branded as not supporting our troops. You know it just killed them to pass that bill, too.

It's all an act by the liberal leaders. They know that leaving Iraq would result in massive bloodshed and they do not want that responsibility.

It is much easier to whine about Bush's solution (that has kept us safe since 9/11 BTW) than to come up with your own plan and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for something.

Liberals never hold their leaders responsible.

Chi Guy: I gave you a thumbs up for holding your leaders responsible.

To answer your question;

Reid and Pelosi are losing respect among their own party with their worthless banter. Reid may lose his re-election with his approval rating less than 50% right now in his home district.

Can you believe that? All you heard for days from them was..."No Way!" ....But then they wasted no time at all signing it.

What exactly do Democrats "stand" for (consistantly)?

Who didn't expect them to fold? Typical for a Democrat - promise everything, do nothing.
