I no longer drink.
When I did I liked my drinks cold unless they were shots and then it did not matter.
To be honest it never mattered.
I used to drink the bottle if I had nothing better to do.
I don't even know if I tasted have those drinks.
But ice is nice if you want a cold cocktail.
