Okay, im looking at a newer style firebird, and i was just wondering how they drive in the snow/rain. Its rear-wheel drive and i knoe there not usually good. But i didnt knoe if it was like maybe okay or whatever. I just need some information from a personal source.

I like Dave S. 's answer! lol! It's pretty much true, too. But I wouldn't trade my Firebird in for ANYTHING! I trade getting stuck on my driveway in January for having a great ride in July!

they are terrible in the snow with any sort of "great" snow tire.
In the rain they fare much better with a tire that is decent. If you are looking to drive over 80 mph in the rain on the highway then leave the firebird at home.

Rear wheel drive cars are not terrible in the wet, just different than front wheel drive in the way they handle. I drove rear wheel cars from early 50's until 1984 and never had an accident. You just have to learn how to drive them.
