I never said I or my teacher supported their action, just that they must have had some reason. As Ramzi Yousef said here

You keep talking about collective punishment and killing innocent people to force governments to change their policies. You call this terrorism. Well you were the first ones who invented this terrorism when you dropped an atomic bomb which killed tens of thousands of women and children in Japan. You killed them by burning them to death.
You killed civilians in Vietnam with chemicals. You went to war more than any other country in this century, and then you have the nerve to talk about killing innocent people. And now you have new ways to kill the innocent. You have so-called economic embargo which kills nobody other than children and elderly people. Yes, I am a terrorist, and I am proud of it. And I support terrorism so long as it is against the United States and Israel, because you are more than terrorists. You are the ones who invented.

Well that was because at the time we had a Democrat president with the philosophy of being reactive ... instead of proactive. They like to think we live in Mr Roger's neighborhood and life is just so great and people are so wonderful. Rodney Dangerfield would call it fantasy land. Oh.. but after it Bill was not reactive either since he did nothing. Remember this when you are old enough to vote.

If you are in public school, and your teacher asked you to write a "blame the victim" paper, I wouldn't be surprised if this individual remained employed at your school.

So anyway, regarding the 1993 bombing, I support the theory that this was also an "inside job"...accept in the 1993 there is more concrete evidence to suggest that the FBI set-up a "sting" so to speak that resulted in the bombing.

But that's just one of many theories.

One theory on why the World Trade Center was such a popular target was that it's architecture was similar to that of Mecca, the Muslim holy site. The target itself or its inhabitants had nothing to do with politics - it was purely a group of people who took it personally that a Japanese-American architect dared to recreate Mecca.

Terrorism has been a tactic about as long as man has been in conflict with itself. The Mongols, in their siege of the Crimean city of Kaffa in A.D. 1346, catapulted their own plague-ridden corpses over the city walls. The refugees from Kaffa traveled to Constantinople, Genoa, and Venice, and they carried the plague with them--possibly contributing to the Black Death outbreak three years later. It was a common practice among ancient Greek and Roman armies to throw poisons, corpses, or other contaminants down wells.

I guess we're to blame for the Mongol invasion as well as the ancient Greek and Roman tactics.

I wonder who told you that it was provoked. You could try online sources to get more information but I find it shocking that anyone would start a paper with the presumption that terrorists were provoked into hurting innocent people. If your teacher told you this you should ask him/her to tell you why he or she came to this shocking conclusion.
