Sad is the strongest for me. I find big part of the song's impact is in the contrast between the slower parts about Chiquitita's present sadness and the faster, uplifting chorus about the happier ways things will be in the future. But even in the faster part there is still the sadness.
There is also a feeling of warmth and caring right through the song.

Hey i love ABBA bigtime... that song is about a person who is feeling down and the friend wants them to be there old selves again.trying to give them hope to see the brighter side of things
