Wrestling is an interesting sport and if you're talking about the WWE smack down its quite obvious its fake due to the fact people would have a lot more broken things if it was real. Then from the information on How stuff works on "How Pro Wrestling Works" I read this: "The skills of the wrestlers do not determine the outcome of the match. Instead, writers work on plots and storylines well in advance, and every match is another chapter in the story. Who wins and who loses is all in the script." In other words its fake.
There are some real parts to it, for example the fact that the moves they make aren't as easy as they make them seem. In conclusion there are fake parts [the actual choreography of the fight is created by choreographers and story is made by writers] but the moves that are exicuted are real.

Real wrestling is not fake. TV wrestling is not fake.
I am assuming you are talking about TV wrestling. It is extremely hard to do what they do. The TV wrestlers/Entertainers beat up their bodies really bad. The floor might bounce a little, but when you are getting flipped around in circles and falling from a 10 foot ladder, there has got to be some sort of "injury" to the body. Sometimes their injuries are more tragic and the are killed by a stunt. I would never say it is fake because it takes a lot of strength and stamina to do something like that. The actual competition part of it is basically made up. They have an idea of what they are to do, but I am sure most of it is improv. They are wrestling for sure, but just not competing, exactly.

It's scripted but not fake. There are story lines that are written out but the moves are mostly real. If you don't believe me, get in the ring and see how you feel after a wrestler jump on you off the turnbuckle.
You don't need to prove it. Anyone in wrestling will tell you that the stories and matches are predetermined. It's fact. Again though, wrestlers are amazing athletes akin to acrobats and really take a lot of punishment.

its kinda fake and yet real. if you go to wrestling related site you would get rumor and backstage stuff which prove wrestling is set up but it can be real just look at injuries that actually has happened (This year WWE had so many guys tored up their muscle and miss sometimes) Wrestling overrall is scripted just like movie but sometimes action will go wrong and wrestlers may get hurt just like stuntmen.

i know its fake because if you jump from five or six feet in the air and you weigh like three hundred pounds and you land square on a guys head he would be dead. he would not be wrestling again the next day. do you see any cuts bruises or blood??

It doesnt have to be proved they admitted it back in the 60's. Oh, and it's not fake, it's "staged". Im sure a lot of that stuff hurts pretty real.

The storylines are fake. the punches are pulled and we are taught to fall properly to avoid injury. It still hurts and accidents happen (our champion broke his ankle after a swanton bomb but finished the match anyway). Most matches are pre-determined and partly rehearsed, we communicate during lock-ups.
