I'm a freshman and so far this semseter, if dont maintain a b AP World History, I'll have a 4.0 flat GPA. I know i can do better than this, i've become more responsible as the year progressed, plus i've had a few distractions this semseter =P. Assumming that i get straight a's from now on, and i take a ton of honors classes, plus participate in school activities, can i make it into a good business school like Wharton or Northwestern?

AP World History? I'm assuming that you're in high school. The info Ranto gave you was good but thats assuming that you are applying for an MBA program at a graduate business school. To me it seems like you're just trying to go to college. With that in mind, northwestern does not have an undergraduate business program. They do however, have a business certificate program for undergrads.

As far as wharton, you need the same thing you need at any other top university. High gpa, the 4.0 flat would be amazing, and high sat scores. Try for 2250+. Also extra curricular activities are clubs are important. And doing something worthwile during your summers can help such as internships and working. If you want to go to wharton try to attend one of their summer high school programs, including:

Leadership in the business world LBW
Leadership Education and Development LEAD

Check out wharton's site you'll find more information.

But honestly, you can make it into a good school. You are a freshman. Anything is possible. Set your goals now and if you work hard you can go to a great school.
Other good undergraduate business schools include:

UPenn Wharton
NYU Stern
UMich Ross
Cornell AEM major
MIT Sloan
UNC-CH Keenan Flagler
Berkeley Haas

Good Luck!

Hi,
Communicate that you are a proactive, can–do sort of person. Business schools want leaders, not applicants content with following the herd.
Put yourself on ego–alert. Stress what makes you unique, not what makes you number one.
Communicate specific reasons why you're a "fit" for a school. Simply stating "I am the ideal candidate for your program" won't convince the admission committee to push you into the admit pile.
Bring passion to your writing. Admissions officers want to know what excites you. And if you'll bring a similar enthusiasm to the classroom..
Break the mold. Challenge perceptions with unexpected essays that say, "There's more to me than you think."
If you've taken an unorthodox path to b–school, play it up. Admissions officers appreciate risk-takers.
Talk about your gender, ethnicity, minority status or foreign background—but only if it has affected your outlook or experiences.
Fill your essays with plenty of real–life examples. These will support your thesis and bring your story to life.
Demonstrate a sense of humor or vulnerability. You're a real person, and it's okay to show it!
For business school help online services are good choice .

If you can keep your GPA above 3.5, get a 700+ on the GMAT and have three to five years of good work experience, you will get into a top MBA program.

Since you have another six to eight years and only one semester of school behind you, it is a little early to give you a better assessment.
